This course with Global KOL Master Mariano Maurizi will be held on July 18th-19th in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

This course is designed for DDS, Dental Technicians, and Dental Assistants.

A theoretical and practical approach lasting two days.

 

About the course:

Going through restorative construction with a Natural Aesthetic sense, we will approach the form and its parallelism with composite.

 

We will apply composite from simple to complex, on teeth and gingiva, and understand the process, gaining experience, and connecting with various pure masses. We will learn how to apply composite with a logical and practical sequence.

 

Topics:

Analysis of Shapes, the concepts of light and color on Teeth and Tissue.

Morphology of Shapes through Prosthetic Genesis "4_espheres".

The correct choice of material according to the value concept.

Saturation, value, and transparency contrast.

Macro and micro-texture.

We will learn how to apply layers with highly aesthetic and naturally controlled reflective surfaces.

Hands-on curriculum:

The class will start at 9 am and end at 5 pm on both days, with lunch from 12 pm to 1 pm. Breakfast and lunch will be included on both days.

 

Day 1

Hands-on.

The interpretation of forms through the understanding of Liist is an essential optical tool.

Composite as part of the project.

Simplified and progressive construction of dental morphology.

 

Day 2

Hands-on.

Composite SR Nexco General characteristics Applications on Crowns, Veneers, Inlays, Onlays. The composite resin for indirect technique from Ivoclar.

A completely innovative material that offers solutions for Micro Veneers, Inlays, and Crowns with or without the framework, bridges, and characterization of gingiva for hybrid restorations and removable prostheses.

Analysis of the effects of light and color. The right choice of masses.

Layering techniques.

Internal makeup Control of morphology.

Know the scope and understand the concept of simplified stratification.

 

Materials to be used in the course: 1x incisal liner, 1x Occlusal dentin orange, brown, 3x Dentin A2, 2x Gingivas 1, 3, BG34, 4, and 5, 1x Intensive gingiva 2, 4, and 5, 3x Incisal1, 1x nipple, 1x transparent, 2x Opal 1 and 3, 4, 1x Stains orange, Brown, white, mahogany, chili, blue, red, 1x SR connect, 2x SR gel, Accessories SR Nexco disposable brush and sponge, Universal shine paste.

 

Equipment: Students must bring: Rubber wheels, stones, and brushes for grinding and polishing, light curing ,Modeling tools, and short bristle brushes.

 

Both days will be from 9 am to 5 pm.  Lunch will be served on both days.
