Matisse Shade Matching Protocol .

This two-day course will be presented by :

Sung Bin Im a Master Dental Ceramist,UCLA Faculty of Dentistry.


The primary focus will be on effective communication strategies between clinicians and technician and   in- house technicians how to achieve  predictable outcomes in  dental practice with Matisse System.

During the lecture, various case studies will be presented, ranging from single-match cases to full-mouth rehabilitations.

These case studies will emphasize the significance of collaboration between clinicians and technicians in achieving successful results.


This session will provide practical training on utilizing the Matisse Software, which is a Dental  Software  for  Color Matching widely used in the industry.

Participants will  learn how to navigate and use the software effectively in Single Tooth Color Match.

Furthermore, live demonstrations of micro layering techniques will be conducted for a single central tooth.

And showcasing techniques to create lifelike and aesthetically pleasing restorations.

Additionally, participants will also be guided through Stain & Glaze techniques for both a central and a posterior tooth.


The topics covered in this lecture and hands-on session aim to equip participants with valuable insights and enhance their practical skills in dental restoration.

By focusing on effective communication, collaboration, and showcasing practical techniques using the Matisse software, participants will gain a deeper understanding of achieving more predictable and successful outcomes in their dental treatments.
