Master Your Exocad Workflow and Take Your Full-Arch Designs to the Next Level

This 2-day hands-on Exocad training is designed for intermediate Exocad users who are familiar with the basics but want to improve their efficiency, troubleshooting skills, and confidence with full-arch cases.
 
The training follows the natural clinical progression of a full-arch case, beginning with pre-surgical planning, moving into immediate-load and same-day design, and continuing through the definitive restoration and advanced workflows.
 
Participants will learn through a combination of short lectures, live demonstrations, and extensive hands-on practice using provided cases and STL files.
 
The goal of this course is not only to show you how to complete each workflow, but also to help you understand how to work more efficiently and troubleshoot common challenges encountered in everyday Exocad design.
 
What You Will Learn:
 
Pre-Surgical Planning & Case Setup: Learn how to properly organize and set up your Exocad cases, including file organization, alignment strategies, database and order forms, and best-practice case setup.
We will cover importing patient records, virtual patient setup, and pre-designing cases before surgery for denture and digital conversion workflows.
 
Participants will design presurgical mockups, monolithic dentures, and guides while learning time-saving shortcuts and how to avoid common problems with data alignment and mesh quality.
 
Immediate Load & Same-Day Design: Learn how to transition a pre-designed prosthesis into an immediate-load provisional restoration.
We will cover post-operative scan integration, same-day adjustments, occlusion refinement, scan errors, and workflow strategies designed to make the process more efficient under real-world time pressure.
 
Participants will complete hands-on same-day design exercises with live troubleshooting throughout the training.
 
Final Restoration Workflow: Learn how to transition from the provisional restoration into the definitive prosthesis.
 
Topics will include material selection, design optimization, emergence profiles, strength considerations, occlusion refinement, esthetics using Smile Creator, and preparing the final design for milling or 3D printing.
 
Participants will design a final restoration based on the provisional workflow completed during the course.
 
Advanced Split-Bar Workflow: Learn the Exocad 3.3+ Bar Module workflow and understand when and how to incorporate a split-bar design.
 
We will cover splitting techniques designed to facilitate insertion and passive fit, along with sleeve and bar design principles.
 
Participants will complete a hands-on split-bar case during the course.
 
Partial CAD Workflow: The course will also introduce a Partial CAD workflow, including framework design, attachment integration, hybrid elements, and hands-on application using a dedicated case.
 
Hands-On Training
Each major workflow will include:
Clinical perspective and data acquisition

Live demonstrations
Extended hands-on design
Troubleshooting and Q&A
Real-world efficiency tips and shortcuts
 
STL files, pre-operative and post-operative scans, and training cases will be provided. Participants should bring a laptop running the latest version of Exocad. The course is designed for approximately 8–12 participants to allow for hands-on instruction and troubleshooting.
 
Course Objective: The objective of this training is to give Exocad designers the knowledge and practical experience needed to confidently manage a complete fixed full-arch digital workflow—from pre-surgical planning and immediate-load conversion to definitive restorations and advanced split-bar techniques.
Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of Exocad, improved workflow efficiency, practical troubleshooting skills, and greater confidence handling full-arch cases.

Pre-Surgical Planning + Immediate Load / Same-Day Design
 
Day 2: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Final Restoration + Advanced Split-Bar & Partial CAD Workflows
Lunch and scheduled breaks will be included throughout both training days. The course concludes with a full group review, certificate presentation, feedback, and take-home tips.
